At the initiative of the Dubrovnik Neretva and Veneto regions, on Thursday, 9 February 2017, partnership meeting was organized in Brussels to mark the opening of a new bilateral program of cross-border cooperation between Italy and the Croatia, valued at 237 million euros.
President Nikola Dobroslavić signed in Brussels with the President of Veneto Region Luca Zaia Memorandum of Understanding between the Veneto region and Dubrovnik Neretva region.

The conference is organized to facilitate funding mobilization for energy projects. The three key pillars that were presented are a more efficient use of public funding, the aggregation of smaller projects and the necessity of de-risking of EE investment.
