The conference on the issue of education and the investment plan into the subject of matter was held on 5th October 2015. at the Square – Brussels Meeting Center. It was organized by the European Comission in accordance with European Investment Bank. The conference level was very high with speakers such as Vice President of the European Comission for Jobs, Growth, Investment and Competitiveness Jyirki Katainen, Commissioner Tibor Navracsics , and Vice-President of the European Investment Bank László Baranyay.


EU Budget focused on results conference was held on 22 September in the European Comisson. EU financial resources nowadays are in scarcity and it is really important to get the most out of every euro. The EU budget amounts to around 1% of the EU's combined Gross Domestic Product (GDP) or up to 2% of the public spending of the 28 EU Member States. The main aim of 'EU Budget Focused on Results' initiative is the effective use of EU resources ( EU taxpayers' money ) – so that they are put to good use for the benefit of citizens and showing people the concrete benefits of the EU budget.

Vice-President of the European Parliament Antonio Tajani received 16.09.2015. delegation of Dubrovnik-Neretva County - led by the Prefect Nikola Dobroslavić. County delegation has, plainly, came to Brussels at the invitation of Head of the Croatian Delegation in European Parliament Dubravka Šuica. The reason is very significant - the 50th anniversary of the founding of Folklore ensemble "Linđo". Delegation of the Neretva boat marathon that is organizing a big boat marathon on the Danube also came to Brussels. This is to be staged in 2018 - on the fifth anniversary of the Croatian membership in the EU - on the route from Vienna to Vukovar, 400 kilometers long!
